Terms & conditions set out the expectations for the service user and the therapist. They govern the contract between us and ensure that we are both protected in the unlikely event of a disagreement. Please read and take note of my terms and conditions.
Starting Therapy
- Your child must attend an assessment appointment before therapy can start.
How to pay
- My preferred method of payment is by bank transfer:

- Cash or cheque payments are also accepted.
Fees
- The fee for the initial assessment will be invoiced on completion of the assessment and delivery of the report.
- Invoices should be paid within 7 days of the invoice.
- Fees for therapy sessions should be paid on the same day.
- If you are claiming fees through private health insurance you will need to pay in accordance with the above terms and then claim this back.
- In the event of non-payment I will contact you to remind you that payment is due. If an invoice is not paid within 7 days, no further appointments will be offered.
Cancellation
- If I need to cancel an appointment I will let you know as soon as possible and arrange a new appointment. If you need to cancel an appointment please contact me as soon as possible.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment will be subject to a £15 charge at the therapist’s discretion
Data Protection
- I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a Data Controller: Registration no. ZA490247. (ICO.org.uk/register).
- All information relating to your child will be stored securely and treated confidentially according to the Data Protection Act 1988.
- In accordance with law, all records will be kept securely until your child is 25 years old. After this time, records will be destroyed.
Communication
- With your consent, email will be used to send letters, reports and other documents. Patient identifiable information will be password protected.
