About me

Jane Taylor BSc (Hons), MSc, MRCSLT, MASLTIP

Hi I’m Jane

I have over 25 years experience working with children and families in Essex within the NHS.

I qualified as a Speech & Language Therapist from De Montfort University in 1995 and gained a Masters degree in Joint Professional Practice (Language and Communication) from the University of London’s Institute of Education in 2005.

My particular areas of interest and experience are speech sound difficulties and developmental language disorder.

I am experienced in the use of the Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme, Derbyshire Language Scheme, Makaton Signing, Cued Articulation, Shape Coding, Colourful Semantics and Word Aware. I have recently attended training in the Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DDTC) approach for Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).

I am registered with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and with The Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice (ASLTIP). I maintain a high level of continuous professional development and am involved in the running of the Essex Developmental Language Disorder Clinical Excellence Network.
