A New Year

The end of my first year working independently seems like a perfect time to reflect and to plan for the year ahead….

It has been a very busy year juggling being a wife and mum of 2, working 3 days a week in the NHS, and building up my independent work.

I’ve really enjoyed meeting so many lovely new families, and have been so pleased to help their children make progress and reach their goals.

I am always keen to continue my professional development, and make sure my therapy is evidence-based and this year I have continued to help coordinate the Essex Developmental Language Disorder CEN, attended the London Speech Disorders CEN, and spent a fascinating day at the London TES SEN show.

The year didn’t end quite so well with a broken arm in December which dampened the Christmas festivities a little, but it’s now on the mend, and I am excited about the year to come.

Lots of new families and new children to meet and help them reach their communicative potential.

Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!!

Bring on 2020!
